She was predeceased by: her parents, James Commodore and Daisy Adams Holder; her husband Everette Eugene Griffin; and her siblings, Shirley Bowman, Ola Byrd, Virginia Lowe, Walter Adams and Rev. Earl Adams.
She is survived by: her sisters, Gladys Lane of Moravian Falls and Grace Johnson (Bob) of Moravian Falls. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
