He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray and Lyda Kate Clark Parsons; his son Larry Parsons; his brothers, Lloyd and Roy Parsons; and his sister-in-law Becky Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Wolfe Parsons; his sons, Lonnie Parsons (Beth) of Moravian Falls and Scott Parsons (Ashley) of North Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Martha Keller of Delaware, Clark Parsons (Linda) of Texas and Floyd Parsons (Vicky) of Mississippi.
