It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolly Marie Phillips of Boomer, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truan Laxton and Hazel Teague Laxton; her husband Donald Edward Phillips; her son Eddie Phillips; and her siblings, Cade Laxton, Trudy Laxton and Jill Humme.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana "Dee" Sue Scarberry of Collettsville and Donna Maria Barnes of Gamewell; her granddaughters, Kandi Scarberry, Karen Crump and Kelly Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Macey Clark, Shea Hamby, Brad Crump, Bhrett Crump, Lexie Crump and London Mitchell.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions graveside services will be private.
