He was predeceased by: his brother David Landon Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, David Lee Mitchell (Retha) and Patsy Ann Hudspeth (Charles); his wife Karen Mitchell; his children, Allison Paige Mitchell, Tyler Todd Mitchell and Ryan Perry Mitchell; his brother Sammy Mitchell (Jennifer); his stepdaughter Danielle Holsclaw (Donny); his stepsiblings, Pamela Miller and Shane Miller; and his grandchildren, Scarlett Holsclaw, Violett Holsclaw and Loyal Christopher Redmon.
