He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Jacobs and Idell Jacobs; his wife Reatha Mae Sampson Jacobs; his children, Keith Alvin Jacobs and Bernice Jacobs Patrick (Johnny Rudolph Patrick); his siblings, Welton Jacobs, Morris Jacobs (Doris Jacobs), Mary Lee Jacobs Goodman (Wendell Goodman), Letha Mae Strickland (Harold Strickland) and Lollie Mae Jacobs Rains (Sheriff Harold Rains); his brother-in-law Lock Locklear; his grandson Triston Lowery; and his great grandchild Lincoln Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey Jacobs (Carmelita) of Bolton, N. C, Ray Goodman (Rose) of Bolton, N. C., Jeffery Goodman (Trish) of Shannon, NC, Jerry Goodman of Cerro Gordo, N. C, Lesia Locklear (Harvey), Renee Cole (Greg) of Cerro Gordo and Ramona Lowery of Pembroke, NC; his daughter-in-law Sheila Jacobs of Bolton; and his sister Polly Locklear of Pembroke, N. C.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; along with so many more nieces and nephews.
