He is survived by: his wife Carol Brown; his son Thanshawn Howard; and his siblings, Brenda Pender of Bolivia, NC, Gwendolyn Dacons of Statesville, NC, Sharon Brown of Whiteville, Deborah Brown of Atlanta, GA and Lofton Brown of Bolton, NC..

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Townsend Temple Ministries (273 Smith Ln, Bolton, NC 28423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
