He is survived by: his wife Annie Shepherd Dowless; his son James Worth Dowless, Jr. (Melissa) of Bolton; his grandchildren, Amanda Dowless and Taylor Dowless; his great grandchild Aaliyah Green; and his brother Joseph Dowless (Margie) of Rockingham.
