He is survived by: his wife Tonda Lou Mason Mitchell; his son Kevin; his nephew Preston Mitchell; his great-niece Faye; and his siblings, Shirley Freeman of Bolton, George Mitchell (Allison) of Clinton and Donnie Mitchell (Jackie) of Bolton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
