It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Judson Ward (Bolivia, North Carolina), who passed away on June 9, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Ward and Sarah Theresa Hewett Ward of Nakina, NC.; his wife Geraldine Ray Ward; and his brothers, Thomas Lenon Ward, Robert Gaston Ward, George Hubert Ward and Wilbur Daniel Ward.

He is survived by: his children, Dorinda Ward Grissom (Louis) of Wilmington, NC and Judson Terry Ward of Cocoa Beach, FL; and his brother Dr. John David Ward (Betty) of Shallotte, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation.
