He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bowling Tyner; his stepson Bradley Cook; his brother Bob Tyner (Grace) of Whiteville, NC; his uncle Dr. Wayne Tyner (Elizabeth); his aunt Nora Townsend Laut; his nephew Dwayne Tyner (Phyllis); his nieces, Denise Hainsey (Ron) and Tammy Breeden (Patrick); and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Bowling Shivers (Steve), Lorri Bowling Shipston (Tim) and Gary Bowling (Susan).

Flowers are welcome, and/or memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Bolivia, NC or to Mill Creek Baptist Church, Winnabow, NC in Sandy's memory.
