He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Francis and Ruth Francis. He is survived by: his brothers, Calvin, Wayne and Floyd; his spouse Jean Francis; his children, Ronald, Jr. (Sharon), Robert (Mandy) and Amy; his grandchildren, Nicole, Camden, Stephanie, Maggie, Sarah, Michael, Daniel, Diego and Dustin; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Chloe, Blake, Daxton, Zoey and Ayla.

Ron battled Parkinson's disease for a number of years.
