With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Scherle of Bolivia, North Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Scherle and Theresa Scherle; and his siblings, Fred Scherle, Al Scherle, William Scherle and Dorothy Kutzuba.

He is survived by: his wife Merle Scherle; and his children, Christopher Scherle (Becky), Elizabeth Iwamiya (Robert) and Catherine Oliver (Mike). He is also survived by four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in Bob's memory.
