He was predeceased by: his parents, Egon Bettge and Marie Bettge of Bay City, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughters, Cindy Robbins (Greg) of Oak Island, NC, Amy Greene (John) of Bradenton and Dana Bettge of Bradenton Florida; his grandchildren, Alex Greene (Rubie), Carrie Greene, Drew Robbins (Bailey) and Lauren Greene; and his siblings, Paul Bettge and Mary Flynn.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brunswick Funeral Home (3479 Southport-Supply Rd SE, Bolivia, NC 28422).
Ray supported several charitable organizations, in lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Humane Society, a Christmas charity, or the organization of your choice in his name.
