It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Richardson Brittain of Bolivia, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Richardson and Ruth Ezzell Richardson; her husband Hubert Brittain; her son Perry Brittain; and her brother James Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Brittain (Cindy) of Southport and Meleta Humbert (Glenn) of Shallotte; her grandchildren, Brittany (Ethan), Maranda (David), Katelyn (George), Morgan, Alex and Maddi; her great grandchildren, Riley, Annalee, Luke, Carly, Teagan and Jack; her brother Liston Richardson; and her sisters-in-law, Velma Richardson and Elaine Phelps. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the Meals on Wheels program of Supply or the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
