He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koletar and Ruth McAbee Koletar. He is survived by: his wife Martha McKee Koletar; his daughter Lauren Koletar Duhon of Dallas; and his granddaughters, Clary and Tate Duhon.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
