Joseph John Martinez Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph John Martinez (Bolivia, North Carolina), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Norma C.; and his siblings, Louis Martinez, Edward Martinez, Annette Palau and Marty Gaglie.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Goldmetzer (Buster) of New Jersey; his friend Papi; his uncle Joe; and his aunt Norma. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

"Uncle Joe" as he was known to his family, friends, and caregivers, beat covid last January, and decided to move to North Carolina at the end of February to be in the care of his Niece and Nephew.
