He is survived by: his wife Trinity Martin Adams; his daughter Everlee Adams; his adoptive parents, Bruce Sullivan and Cyndy Sullivan; his grandmothers, Tamara Merrell Phelps of Mocksville and Peggy Adams of Wallburg; his parents-in-law, Tina and Nick Martin; his aunt Susan Gregory of King, NC; his sisters, Niki Kimrey, Vickery Jackson, Sharyn Coster and Kelly Rajaniemi; his brothers-in-law, Jason Kimrey, Jacob Jackson, Ryan Coster, Heath Rajanimei, Peyton Martin and Eli Martin; and his nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Taylor, Noah, Jake, Levi, Brayden, Rebekah, Lily, Riley, Nehemiah, Adalyn and Olivia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Duke Cancer Institute or Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
