He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Alton "Tommy" and Ivey Cheers Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Nina Gail Stanley; his children, Alan Stanley (Kathi) of Bolivia, NC, Wanda Gail Mintz (Gerald) of Leland, NC, Margaret Ann Stanley (Jim Percherke) of Ashburn, VA and Barbara Ann Pokies (Scott) of Kingsland, GA; his sisters, Pauline Watts of Bolivia, NC and Rebecca "Peggy" Edge of Leland, NC; his grandchildren, Jeremy Stanley, Matthew Mintz, Jesse Mintz, Krystle Bowman and Michael Joseph Breaux; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Stanley, Julian Bowman and Daniel Bowman.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the White Funeral & Cremation Service, Bolivia Chapel (603 Ocean Hwy E, Bolivia, NC 28422). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
