He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Aman and Pearl Warren Aman; and his wife Patricia Rose Norris Aman. He is survived by: his children, Doug Aman, Jr. (Kim) of Albemarle, NC, Teresa Hewett of Southport, NC and Tracy Aman; his grandchildren, Jared Marshall Aman, Garrett Douglas Aman, Trevor Graham Aman, Dustin Aman Hewett, Christina Brianna Poe, Brittani Lee Aman and Austin Graham Aman; and his siblings, Mack Ray Aman of Oak Island, NC and Vivian Faye Aman Crawley of Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
