He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Reeves and Myrtle Townsend Reeves; and his brothers, Edward and Harold Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Henry Reeves; his children, Claude Douglas Reeves and Wendy Reeves Vaughan (Tim) of Charlotte; and his sister Patricia Yeats of Wilmington.
