He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Sloop and Mary Ellen Beaver Sloop; his wife Connie Mills Sloop; and his sister Martha Ellen Sloop Mullis. He is survived by: his daughters, Shellena McCall (Clyde) of Fredericksburg, VA and Santresa Fulford (Michael) of Southport; his brother George "Kale" Sloop; and his grandchildren, Johnathan McCall, Joshua McCall, David "Cody" Holland, Riley "Dale" Holland, Dakota Culpepper and Kathryn Huey. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
