He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Maskara and Patricia Maskara; his wife Meg Maskara of Bolivia, NC; his son Robert Maskara (Kayla) of Port Jervis, NY; his siblings, Dan Maskara (Meredith) of Sunnyside, NY, Mark Maskara (Lisa) of Yonkers, NY and Nancy Maskara of Elmsford, NY; his aunt Joanne Moynihan of Yonkers, NY; his uncle Martin Ball; and his brothers-in-law, James Curtis of Yorktown, NY and Gerald Curtis of Yonkers, NY. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (603 Ocean Hwy E, Bolivia, NC 28422). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
