He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Eilene; and his siblings, George, Robert and Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Alonzo Jr. (Andrea), Steve (Kathy), Derrick, Robin (Paul) and Greg (Tracy); his grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Autumn, Nick, Rick, Shannon, Chris, Allen, Jacob and Jordan; his great grandchildren, Wade, Emerson and Emery; and his siblings, Dorothy, Eilene, Sandy and Donna. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
