He was predeceased by: his parents, George Logan Bailey and Ruth May Hardin Bailey; and his siblings, J. P. Bailey, Clifford Bailey, Roy Bailey, Jake Bailey, Barbara Randolph and Dennis Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jones Bailey; his son Andrew Bailey (Andrea) of Boiling Springs, NC; and his siblings, Jean Bailey of Boiling Springs, NC, Pam Thomas of Gaffney, SC and George Henry Bailey (Patsy) of Sunshine.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morningstar Baptist Church Cemetery (263 Morningstar Lake Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
