Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Laura Wilson Scruggs (Boiling Springs, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 99, on January 6, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Wilson and Eula Dedmon Wilson. She is survived by: her daughter Rita; her granddaughters, Lisa Caro (Leo) of Chicago and Heather Fritz Horniak (David) of Washington, D. C; her great grandchildren, Alex, Andrew and Colin Horniak of Washington, DC.; her friend Daunita Blanton of Shelby; and her daughter Lisa. She is also survived by grandparent anyone could ever have had, and that they were very fortunate to have her live with them during many of the granddaughters.
