He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin "Benny" Thomas Brooks. He is survived by: his mother Ann Caudle Brooks of Wadesboro; his children, Brandon Brooks (Kim) of Wake Forest and Lila Brooks of Wilson; his grandchildren, Beckett and Colton Brooks; and his siblings, Warren Brooks (Ann) of Oak Island, Patty Livingston (Michael) of Wadesboro and Bonnie Thomas of Charlotte. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
