He is survived by: his wife Deborah B. "Debbie" Young; his children, James William "Jamie" Young Jr. (Jill), Joseph Daniel "Jody" Young (Ashley) of Florence, SC and Jennifer Lynn Putnam of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Andrew Faile, Eliza Young, Connor Young of Florence, SC, Ari Godfrey and Niya Godfrey of Hickory, NC; and his siblings, Carolyn Curtis of Forest City, NC and Lee Young Jr. (Mary) of Smyrna, TN. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
