He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otus Winn and Rebecca Bridges Winn; and his former wife Frances Verlinden Winn (Barbara Ledford Winn). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Luckadoo Winn; his children, James "Jack" Winn (Brian Bish) and Jeanne Sweeney (Jonathan); his stepson Todd Smith (Diane); and his grandchildren, Ella Sweeney, Griffin Sweeney and Taylor Smith.
