It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Walker Hamrick of Boiling Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Brenda Walker departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda Walker may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda Walker leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton T. Walker and Blanche Holland Walker; her husband Joe M. Hamrick; and her brother Larry Walker. She is survived by: her sons, Sam Hamrick (Darlene) and Patrick Hamrick (Crystal); and her grandchildren, Jane Hamrick, Henry Hamrick, Asa Hamrick and Celeigh Hamrick. She is also survived by her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
