He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Driggers and Virginia Mae Driggers; his son Timothy Stephen Mac Donald; and his sister Cindy Cox. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Driggers; his children, Brandy Teal (Gene), Kelli Gainey (David), Richard Mac Donald, April Driggers and Joshua Driggers (Amber); his grandchildren, Melody, Wesley, Victoria, Bryon, Josh, Rebecka, Emmett, Carter, Jasper and Amelia; his great grandchild Hank; and his siblings, Butch Driggers and Mary Gaskins.
