It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Worth Barker Jr. of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Worth and Louise Nester Barker Bill. He is survived by: his wife Margret Campbell Barker; his children, David Barker of Blowing Rock and Jennifer Barker Stewart (John Stewart) of Matthews, NC; and his grandchildren, Suzy Barker Greene (Jack), Jackson, Michael and Taylor Stewart Charlotte.
