He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Collier, Sr. and Margaret Adams Collier; his wife Barbara Stone Collier; his son Christopher McLauchlin Collier; and his sister Martha Collier Scruggs (Tom).
He is survived by: his friends, Barbara'Stone', Bob'Rock' and Wrightsville Beach; his children, Robert Alvis Collier, III (Julia Wilson), James Buford Collier (Burr), Paige Collier Wiseman (Frank), Anne Randall Collier Hollifield (Kevin) and Elizabeth Stone Collier Pendleton (Sterling); his grandchildren, Robert Alvis Collier, IV (Rock), Bristol Marie Collier, William McLauchlin Wiseman (Jessica), Robert Collier Wiseman, Randall Downing Wiseman and Lauren Hollifield; his great grandchildren, Parker Nora Carty, Collier Lloyd Carty (Buck), Lennox Kate Beach, Leela Ross Beach, Boessell Downing Wiseman (Boes) and James McLauchlin Wiseman (Mac); his pet Daisy; and his caregivers, Monique, Andrea, Kenda, Tammy, Penny, Mindy and Noemi.
