With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Beard of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Beard and Nola Jane Hoover Beard. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Ann Hornberger (Keith), Janet Leinbach-Poust (Wade) and Mary Faith Flannigan (Chris); his grandsons, Robert Stewart Little (Emily), Patrick Quincy Flannigan, Thomas Wayne Flannigan, Matthew Graham Flannigan and Kevin Hornberger (Julie); and his great grandchildren, Ella and Jackson Hornberger.
Family is asking that all attending please follow COVID-19 protocol.
