He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pickett and Amie Lou Pickett (Parker). He is survived by: his wife Emma Pickett (Scott); his children, Phillip Pickett, Jr. (Melissa) of Blowing Rock and Amy Wicker (Mark) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Adam Wicker (Megan), Taylor Pickett, Scott Wicker and Carson Wicker; and his sisters, Kay Lanier (Ralph) and Gail Cottle (Howard). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Alzheimer's research to the Rotary Club of Blowing Rock, c/o CART Fund (Pickett Family), P.O. Box 1300, Blowing Rock, NC 28605 would be appreciated by the family.
