She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Hampton and Ora Trivette Hampton; and her brother Merill Hampton. She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Pate (Chris) of Boone and Christy Tester (Mike) of Blowing Rock, Special; her grandchildren, Eli Pate (Heydon) of Phafftown, NC, Connor Pate (Kelly O'Keefe) of Boone and Macy Pate of Boone; and her brothers, Mack Hampton (Judy) of Boone and Morris Hampton (Susie) of Blowing Rock. She is also survived by nephews and several great neices and nephews.
