It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Jane Harrison of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lowell Benjamin Furman, Sr. and Peggy Jackson Furman; and her grandparents, Delbert and Amy Furman. She is survived by: her husband Donald Harrison of Blowing Rock; her stepmother Faythe Furman of Boone; her siblings, Susan Furman Clawson (Michael Clawson), Barbara Furman Hall (Steven) of Flat Rock, Lowell Benjamin Furman, Jr. (Beth) of Bloomington, Indiana, Robert Houck, Jr. (Michelle) of Summerville and Christopher Houck of Asheville; and also Carl Osborne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
