We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2022, Judi Ethel Tolbert of Blowing Rock, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vilas Lawrence Payne and Ruth Carmichael Payne; her husband Owen Tolbert; and her children, Michelle Tolbert Helton and James Tolbert.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Graham Helton of Blowing Rock, Parker Tolbert of Macon, GA. and Megan Helton of Blowing Rock; her children-in-law, Melanie Tolbert of Macon, GA and Iain Helton of Blowing Rock; and her sister Jean Clontz of Boone.

Per Judi's request, no food will be accepted, and in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the grandchildren, Graham and Megan Helton and Parker Tolbert.
