He is survived by: his wife Terri Otterman; his grandchildren, Alan Szlosek (Kristen), Marissa White (Gabe), Philip Szlosek, Clay Szlosek (Maria Antioquia) and Brandon Otterman; and his siblings, Rick Otterman and Shelia Nuzzi. He is also survived by five children.
