She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Davant Jr. of South Carolina; her children, Dr. Charles and Dianne Davant Moffitt; her son-in-law Lee Moffitt; her granddaughter Ashley Winkelmann; her grandson-in-law Eric of Blowing Rock; her granddaughter Alyse Burke; her grandson-in-law Patrick of Boone; her grandson Charles Davant IV; and also, Teena and Meaghan of Washington, DC..

The Blowing Rock Community Foundation named her "Woman of the Year" in 2016, describing her as a "Steel Magnolia" and "the ultimate Southern Lady.".
