It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Gill of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fredrick Gill and Ida Mary Williams Gill; her son William Schwin; and her sister Lorraine Crosby. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Greer (Freddie) of Granite Falls and Joe Scwinn (Jamie K. Walseth) of St. Petersburg; her grandsons, Justin Greer of Granite Falls, Corey Greer of Conover and Ryan Walseth of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her sister Marilyn Etter.
