He was predeceased by: his father Nicholas Canaday; his wife Marjorie Canaday; and his siblings, Nicholas Canaday and Carol Ann "Bunny" Brown. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Allen Canaday, Clifford Alden Canaday, Lynn Canaday Black and Karen Clough Canaday; and his grandchildren, Jason Cody Canaday, Lindsey Marye Canaday, Kevin Edward Canaday, Douglas Lyndon Black and Dylan Arthur Black.
