He was predeceased by: his parents, John Trimmer and Sadie Benner Trimmer. He is survived by: his wife Saundra E. Trimmer; his sons, John Trimmer, Jr. (Patty) of Enid, OK, Joseph Trimmer (Merry) of Far Hills and Jeffrey Trimmer (Caroline) of Frenchtown; his grandchildren, John E. Trimmer III (Chelsea) and Molly Reynolds (Jess); his stepgranddaughter Julia Burchell; his great grandchildren, John E. Trimmer IV and Samuel Trimmer; and his sister Doris Wiedman of Mt. Bethel, Pennsylvania..
