He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Udell Stokes Wimple; his grandparents, Robert Stokes and Fannie Alice Henderson Stokes; his stepfather Harry Wimple; his brothers, Harry Wimple Jr. and Leroy Wimple; his sons, Lonnie Stokes, Ronnie (Rhonda Stokes), Lance (Fredricca Stokes) and Michael Stokes; his siblings, Wendell (Latrella Wimple), Lewis Wimple of Yanceyville, NC, Lillie Mae (Calvin Dixon) and Lucy Mae Walker of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Lauryn and Cameron Stokes; and his friend Due. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
