He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jane Viola Barnett Watlington and Thomas Watlington; his brother Thomas Gregory Watlington; his wife Melisa Thaxton Watlington; his grandmother Pauline Barnett of Reidsville, NC; his children, Kianna, Diamond, Princess, Shaya, Arriyonna, La'Keshia, Mauqueeda (Jamaine) and Leondre; his grandchild Jamaine King, Jr.; his siblings, Natalie Gail Walters, Bridget Farmer, Loressa Lipford, Jeffrey Watlington and Jackie King; and his parents-in-law, Betty and George Thaxton. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, April 2, 2021, from 4 to 8 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.
