It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gracie Long Harris of Blanch, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Houston Harris; her son Morrell Harris; and her siblings, William, James, Pete, Edward, Monroe, Burney, Raymond, Thomas Long, Mary Brandon, Martha Jefferies, Irene Long and Dorothy Pyles.
She is survived by: her daughter Venus Harris of Danville, VA.; her sisters, Jearlene Manning of San Diego and Lillian Allen (Ray) of Brooklyn, NY; her sisters-in-law, Delois Evans and Sarah Long; her grandchildren, Alge'Rod Harris (Candice), Donnell Edmunds (Satoria) and Jamiyah Harris; and her great grandchildren, Diamond Alyana, Alge'Rod Joseph and Juliana Ivanka. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 4 p. m. to 7 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
