She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Howard Lawson and Annie Sherill Lawson of Virginia; and her siblings, Ruby Bowman and Charles Lawson. She is survived by: her husband Edward Lee Huff; her children, Falina Long of Providence, NC and Edwin Lee Huff (Christy) of Raleigh, NC; her granddaughter Amber Long of Raleigh, NC; and her siblings, Rachel Patton (Thomas) of Danville, VA and John Lawson (Virginia) of Providence, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY, 10016.
