He is survived by: his wife Patricia Babson; his children, Patrick Babson of St. Pauls and Kim Babson Taylor of Tabor City; and his siblings, Roger Babson, Bennie Ray Babson, Rita Cartrette and Judy Rhodes. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
