With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Eddie Bryan Jr. of Bladenboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Bryan and Docia Butler Bryan; the mother of his children Charlotte McGoogan Bryan; his wife Shirley Bryan; his stepdaughter Millie Bryan; and his siblings, Peggy Bryan and Finley Bryan.
He is survived by: his sons, W. Duncan Bryan (Terry) and Eric Bryan (Marie); his stepchildren, Gwen Guyton and Ben Guyton; his sister Dorothy B. Love; his grandchildren, Samuel D. Bryan (Anna Carr), W. Zachary Bryan (Halie) and Abby B. Olson (Lieutenant Victor Olson); and his great grandchildren, Miller Bryan, Islay Clare Bryan and Cameron Bryan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Center Road Baptist Church (2484 Center Rd, Bladenboro, NC 28320). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Bill Bryan's contributions to family, friends, and the community have left an indelible mark that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
