He was predeceased by: his father William Arthur Deaver; his stepfather Marvin Hammond; and his nephew Willis Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Hammond; his children, Cameron Priest of Dublin and Savanna Scobie; his sisters, Kim Spurling of Bladenboro, Wendy Dicicco (Stewart Oliver) of Bladenboro and Teresa Horton (Steve) of Bladenboro; his nephews, Christopher Johnson (Meagan), Dustin Spurling, Colby Horton (Tina) and Channing Horton (Madison); his niece Camryn Horton; his great-nieces, Lyla Reid Horton and Layken Reece Horton; his great-nephew Stephen Colby Horton Jr.; his children, Brice, Tredon Scott and Brandon Fowler (Kiara); and his grandsons, Wyatt Fowler and Austin "Bubba" Fowler.
