She was predeceased by: her husband Wade Hampton Thompson; her parents, Gurthie Kinlaw and Alma Pait Kinlaw; and her siblings, Juanita Carroll, Leah Kinlaw, Maggie Kinlaw, MJ Kinlaw, Wilford Kinlaw, Alvin Kinlaw, Theodore Kinlaw and James McCrae Kinlaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ginger Thompson of Bladenboro and Janet Thompson Dowless (Donald) of Bladenboro; her sister Joyce Bryan (Carlton) of Broadway, NC; her granddaughter Michelle Dowless Pait (Kevin) of Fayetteville; and her great grandchildren, Nathan and Nolan Pait of Fayetteville. She is also survived by grandchild, and "Granny" to her two great-grandsons.
